Upstate Offers a Taste of the Season with Fall for Greenville

20081011_ffg_3_900x600Over 40 of Greenville’s finest restaurants set up booths along Main Street. Restaurants included Sully’s Steamers, Mellow Mushroom, and Orient on Main.

Upstate residents experienced a taste of autumn at Fall for Greenville, which was held the weekend of Oct. 11Fall for Greenville is one of the area’s most popular  events at this time of the year. Guests could eat or drink samples of food, and they enjoyed various forms of entertainment while walking through beautiful downtown Greenville.

The variety of food available almost guaranteed that each visitor would find the perfect meal.

Food, drinks, and beer were available with tickets. Guests  used the tickets at any of the vendors they chose. Using the same ticket system that was used for food and drinks, guests were able to sample a variety of tasty wines. A Beer Garden was also available for guests to taste some of the best craft beers from around the region.

Entertainment stages were also set up at multiple locations along Main Street. The Kapecky Family Band, Moon Taxi, The Weeks, and several other bands performed for the occasion.

Additionally, carnival rides were available for children. Kids could enjoy the ferris wheel, a merry-go-round, and many other fun rides.

With an abundance of food, drinks, and music at Fall for Greenville, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The event gave guests the opportunity to enjoy the fresh fall air, listen to great music, and experience a little taste of Greenville.
