There are numerous different clubs and organizations on this campus, all working together amongst themselves, but individually between other groups. This university is host to a numerous amount of majors but more importantly interests. Photography? There’s a club for that. Writing? There’s a club for that. Want to make a difference is the community?

There are plenty of clubs for that. Clubs like Club Art & Design can help benefit people and their artistic skills as well as portfolios. They can also help create posters and promotions for other groups such as student life, Impact, and Future Filmmakers Club to name a few. Have a story to tell? Writers Inc. is an on campus groups that seeks collections of writing from poetry to short stories that are published in an awesome physical annual book.

Those of you who write stories can also lend a hand to the Future Filmmakers Club in which your story can be adapted into a short film, your music can be adapted into a music video, or anything you can imagine can be put on some type of screen or in some type of video. The group seeks to involve musicians, graphic designers, make-up artists, writers, photographers, video-makers, on-set health technicians and more to build professional portfolios as well as create awesome content for this university and ourselves.

These groups can also work with our Campus Activities Board to help produce awesome and memorable events that will engage and influence all types of student life. Junior Communications major Jamal Lewis shares his thoughts: “I feel it should be like that anyway, I think working together is very beneficial not just for on-campus groups but for us as a university. Lets say since I’m in FFC and CAB would like a video to get more members and show the school what they do. My club can come in and shoot the video, show what they do on campus and also market our talents as well. While at the same time meeting and learning about each other and bringing the campus closer”.

This is an excellent opportunity for students while in school, to receive awesome skills and experience all at no cost but the help of each other.
