Don’t be afraid: It’s only youth learning stage makeup at summer theatre camp

It was scary at first sight in front of the Fine Arts and Communication Studies (FACS) building Monday evening.

Campers peering around the corner of FACS were made up with scary faces at the Theatre For Youth Stage Makeup Camp.

Professor Rich Robinson is holding the first of three weeks of summer theatre camp. Stage makeup and Technical Theatre Camp is this week. The Youth Drama Camp is June 12-16 and June 19-23.

The technical camp teaches lighting, sound and set design.

The older drama students will perform “The Audition” and the younger group will perform “Biggity Bad and the Three Little Pigs”.

The performances are scheduled June 16 and June 23 at 6 p.m. Admission is $3 for all ages.
