Online parking decal registration bypasses long lines, saves time
By Cierra Mills
Online parking decal registration can eliminate some stress from students’ back-to-school checklist.
To register online, follow the directions on the Vehicle Registration webpage. Students, staff, and faculty can also stop by the Department of Public Safety and Parking at the main campus to retrieve parking decals.
A driver’s license, a vehicle registration card, and proof of insurance is required to receive a parking permit. The fee for an additional parking decal is $10, unless the old decal is turned in.
New students are given parking decals after orientation with expected knowledge of all the parking rules and regulations of the campus. A brochure will be provided along with the parking decal and can be reviewed online.
Attend to the email sent from Police Chief Klay Peterson with the subject, “2017-2018 Parking Decals.” This email includes all the necessary information, rules, and instructions for getting a parking decal.
Anyone with questions can call the Department of Public Safety and Parking at (864) 503-7777.
