The men’s soccer game has been postponed for 1 p.m. on Saturday because of a line of thunderstorms moving through the Upstate.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is partnering with Landrum High School to collect school supplies donated at Friday’s men and women’s soccer games. The men’s soccer game is 4 p.m. and the women’s game at 7:30 p.m.

The school supplies will be sent to the Houston Independent School District (HISD) to provide for children who are without supplies because of Hurricane Harvey, which produced record rain and flooding.

Students return to classes on Monday, Sept. 11, the HISD announced Thursday.
Admission is free for USC Upstate students with a valid student ID.
