Faith Fest introduced students to variety of faith-based, non-Christian organizations
By Erika Hollis
Christian and non-Christian organizations gathered at the University Readiness Center last Wednesday for Faith Fest 2017.
The event was for interfaith-based community groups, non-profit agencies, and student groups to share information about their organizations to the campus community.
Second Presbyterian Church, Catholic Student Association, USC Upstate Gospel Choir, and non-denominational churches were among organizations represented.
Two non-Christian organizations attended, Unitarian Universalist Church of Spartanburg and Greenville Baha’i Center.
Christian Equine Therapy (Hope Remains Ranch) for school children was also represented. Equine Therapy is a non-judgmental experience that does not feel like therapy.
Another Faith Fest is scheduled in the spring.
